Disaster Management Workshop

The NSS Unit No. 341 of Alphonsa College, Thiruvambady, in association with the Kerala Fire and Rescue Services Department, successfully conducted a Disaster Management Workshop on 20 June 2026 at the college auditorium. The workshop aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills in disaster preparedness, fire safety, first aid, emergency response, and rescue operations. Expert officers from the Kerala Fire and Rescue Services led interactive sessions and live demonstrations, creating awareness about effective disaster management and community resilience. The programme reinforced the importance of preparedness and encouraged students to become responsible volunteers capable of responding confidently during emergencies.
