Enviroment Day Celebration

The Environment Day Celebration was observed with great enthusiasm in the Alphonsa College on 5 June 2026. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of protecting and preserving the environment. The event began with a message by the Principal, Dr. Shiju Eliaz, who highlighted the need for collective efforts to safeguard nature and promote sustainable living practices. He encouraged students to become responsible citizens and contribute actively to environmental conservation. As part of the celebration, Fr. George Mundanattu and Dr. Joby Babu planted a sapling on the college campus, symbolizing the institution's commitment to a greener and healthier future. Students and faculty members participated wholeheartedly in the programme. The celebration served as a reminder of our responsibility to protect the environment for future generations and inspired everyone to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.
